Adventure,
by the pack.
Pack 129 is for Cedar Lake families with kids in kindergarten through fifth grade. We hike, we camp, we build pinewood derby cars at the kitchen table, and we make sure nobody's new kid stays new for long.
Big days,
small moments.
A pack year isn't one big event — it's a steady drumbeat of small afternoons and a few days your kid won't forget. Here's a taste of what's on the calendar.
Pinewood Derby
Every scout gets a kit, a block of pine, and a weekend with a grown-up to build a car. Race day is loud, fast, and ends with a trophy or two.
Raingutter Regatta
Tiny sailboats, a rain gutter full of water, and a lot of cheeks puffed out to provide the wind. Simple, silly, and fun for everyone.
Blue & Gold Banquet
Our big end-of-year dinner. Awards for the whole pack, a crossover ceremony for the Arrow of Light scouts, and a potluck that always runs long.
Plus: campouts, hikes, service projects, Scouting for Food, and the Cedar Lake holiday parade.
Every age
has a badge.
Pack 129 has six ranks from kindergarten through fifth grade. Your scout joins the den for their grade and grows with the same group of friends year after year.
